Anthony L. Ranken

Anthony L. Ranken is an attorney and partner at Ranken & Drewyer, L.L.C.  He has extensive litigation experience in a diverse array of practice areas, including personal injury law, products liability matters, medical malpractice, criminal defense, general civil litigation, and business and real estate litigation. 

Mr. Ranken earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, with distinction, in 1979.  He was also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society.  After college, Mr. Ranken went to Boalt Hall School of Law at University of California, Berkeley, where he received his Juris Doctor degree in 1982.  In law school, Mr. Ranken was Editor-in-Chief of Ecology Law Quarterly.   

Mr. Ranken has held a variety of influential positions.  He was a Per Diem Judge of the Hawaii District Courts, Chairman of the Maui County Board of Ethics, and Co-Founder and former President of the Maui Tomorrow Foundation.  He is also multi-lingual, speaking English, Spanish, and French. 

Mr. Ranken is admitted to practice law in all state courts of Hawaii.  He is a member of the Maui County Bar Association, the Hawaii State Bar Association.

Michelle L. Drewyer

Michelle L. Drewyer is an attorney and partner at Ranken & Drewyer, L.L.C.  Ms. Drewyer practices in the full spectrum of civil and criminal defense litigation, including personal injury law, medical malpractice, wrongful death, commercial litigation, and DUI offenses.  Before beginning her extensive career in the law, Ms. Drewyer attended Western Michigan University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1987.  She then attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 1991. 

In addition to her law practice, Ms. Drewyer acts as a Per Diem Family Court Judge, which she has been doing since 2005.  Ms. Drewyer belongs to the Maui County Bar Association and Hawaii State Bar Association.  Ms. Drewyer is fluent in Spanish and is admitted to practice law in all state courts of Hawaii.
